Smart Cage Trap
The Tawhiti trap is fitted with a lure dispenser and an electronic monitor. Suitable for rural environments primarily for trapping mustelids, possums and feral cats at locations remote from human habitation.
With live cage traps, there is a requirement that they be checked within 24 hours of being sprung.
The electronic monitoring reduces the need to visit the trap unless a "sprung" email message is received. This is an important feature if it requires a long walk.
